The Cosmic Instruments Evenelope Gen a Voltage Controlable Envelope Generator that allows you to control your envelopes using many different knobs and inputs. To get a sense of what the module is capable of, we have outlined the functionality of each knob and input jack below. Knobs: - Atk, controls the length of the attack phase of the ADSR envelope. - Dec, controls the length of the decay phase of the ADSR envelope. - Sus, controls the length of the sustain phase of the ADSR envelope. - Rel, controls the length of the release phase of the ADSR envelope. - Lvl, this knob controls the level/height of the envelope. Turning the knob to the right will result in increasing the overall voltage of the envelope. - Time, allows you to control the total time of the envelope. Turning this knob will increase or decrease how long your envelope lasts. The ratio between your attack, release, sustain and release phases will remain the same. Input/outputs: - Atk, voltage controlled input for the length of the attack phase of the ADSR envelope. - Dec, voltage controlled input for the length of the decay phase of the ADSR envelope. - Sus, voltage controlled input for the length of the sustain phase of the ADSR envelope. - Rel, voltage controlled input for the length of the release phase of the ADSR envelope. - Gate, input that can be used to trigger the envelope. - Lvl, voltage controlled input for the lvl knob. - Time, voltage controlled input for the time knob. - Out, this jack outputs the envelope. Also note that there is a toggle at the top of the module. This allows you to toggle between 'normal' and 'looping' mode. When the module is in the normal mode, it functions as a standard ADSR, which only outputs the envelope when a trigger it fed into the gate input. When the module is in looping mode it ignores the gate and just keeps looping the envelope signal like an LFO.
